To participate in Memorial Services and Ceremonies,

 

• Armistice Day Celebrations.

 

• Armed Forces Day Celebrations

 

• Allied &Commonwealth Memorial Day celebrations e.g. ANZAC day, VE day, D day

 

• Significant memorial days  of importance to South Africa.  The Battle of the Somme (Delville Wood), the sinking of the SS Mendi , The Battle of Britain ,North African and Italian campaigns (El Alamein and Tobruk) and the Korean War.

 

• Days in support of South Africans who have served or are currently serving in the British Armed Forces under the Commonwealth banner, notably Iraq and Afghanistan.

 

• Boer War Commemorations.

 

• South African military campaigns  e.g. the Battle of Square Hill, Sidi Rezegh

 

• If invited to do so – to participate in funeral parades for South Africans who have paid the ultimate price serving South Africa or the United kingdom.

 

• To represent South African Regiments which have affiliations to Regiments in the United Kingdom.
