Membership

The objectives of the Legion are:

 

To provide an organisation for military veterans which furthers the objects of the Legion.

To promote that spirit of self-sacrifice, comradeship and cooperation which inspired military veterans to serve others and not themselves.

To perpetuate the memory of those who died for or served their country and their dependents.

To lobby, advocate and/or negotiate with any person, body or authority involved in or concerned with the well-being and support of military veterans and their dependents.

To secure adequate representation on all Councils, Boards, Organisations and other bodies, officials or otherwise dealing with any matters affecting the interests of military veterans and their dependents.

To assist military veterans and their dependents where required or requested as far as may be possible.

To encourage fellowship and comradeship among members and other military veterans.
